Welcome to Habitat For Humanity of Lenawee County Sticky

Founded in 1989 by a group of people who were interested in reducing substandard housing Lenawee County, our affiliate has since built 34 homes in this county.

The Lenawee County HFH is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing.

Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.

ReStore Closed for Renovations

IMPORTANT - The ReStore will be temporarily closing for renovations and building upgrades. The store will be closing on January 3rd for approximately 2 weeks, please visit us on facebook or on our website for progress updates and re-opening dates.

The Habitat Lenawee ReStore, located at 2811 Treat Hwy, sells donated home repair and home furnishing items at a low cost, using all proceeds to support Habitat Lenawee and provide more homes to Lenawee County families in need.
