Women Build 2023

Women Build is an opportunity for women to come together to build up our community, help a local family, and have some fun! Any woman who wants to learn how to build and construct a home is invited to join us. No experience is necessary.

Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved and improves the community that you share.

Rock the Block

Habitat Lenawee’s Rock the Block event combines homeowners and renters, Habitat volunteers, community sponsors into a weekend of high-energy community revitalization. Under the guidance of Habitat’s construction staff, community volunteers complete exterior home repairs and weatherization and cleanup activities such as porch staining, house/porch painting, gutter cleaning, yard clean-up, and landscaping. Habitat Lenawee County invites individuals, corporate, and community partners to join this movement in neighborhood revitalization— moving to the HUDSON COMMUNITY in 2023!

  2. BECOME A SPONSOR OR DONOR: Rock the Block needs financial gifts, materials to complete the repairs and clean up. Please contact us if you would like to get involved.
