Women Build

Women Build is an opportunity for women to come together to build up our community, help a local family, and have some fun! Any woman who wants to learn how to build and construct a home is invited to join us. No experience is necessary.

Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved and improves the community that you share.

THANK YOU to everyone who joined us in 2022!  For more information or to get on the mailing list for Women Build 2023, contact De’Angelo at volunteer@habitat-lenawee.org.

Rock the Block

Habitat Lenawee’s Rock the Block event combines homeowners and renters, Habitat volunteers, community sponsors into a weekend of high-energy community revitalization. Under the guidance of Habitat’s construction staff, community volunteers complete exterior home repairs and weatherization and cleanup activities such as porch staining, house/porch painting, gutter cleaning, yard clean-up, and landscaping. Habitat Lenawee County invites individuals, corporate, and community partners to join this movement in neighborhood revitalization— this year in the ONSTED COMMUNITY!
