Rock the Block

Habitat Lenawee’s Rock the Block event combines homeowners and renters, Habitat volunteers, and community sponsors into a weekend of high-energy community revitalization. Under the guidance of Habitat’s construction staff, community volunteers complete exterior home repairs and weatherization and cleanup activities such as porch staining, house/porch painting, gutter cleaning, yard clean-up, and landscaping. Habitat Lenawee County invites individuals, corporate, and community partners to join this movement in neighborhood revitalization— returning to the HUDSON COMMUNITY in 2024!

Women Build

Women Build is an opportunity for women to come together to build up our community, help a local family, and have some fun! Any woman who wants to learn how to build and construct a home is invited to join us. No experience is necessary.

Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved and improves the community that you share.
