Repairs

Habitat for Humanity works with low- and moderate-income homeowners to address critical repair needs. Projects are funded by grants, no-profit, partially forgiven loans, or a combination of the two, depending on funding availability.

We do not assist with strictly cosmetic projects.

If you are interested in applying with us, we encourage you to call Habitat Lenaweee at 517-265-6157 or email smeikle@habitat-lenawee.org to see if we have funding. Habitat for Humanity also maintains a list of other community resources that may be able to help you.

This Pre-Application is the first step and is not a full application. Once it’s completed and returned, our team will review it to see whether you may be eligible to move forward in the process.  Qualified applicants will work with our Repair Program Manager to complete the full application.

Completed applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis as funds are available. Early application is encouraged.
