On January 21, 2011 Habitat Lenawee broke ground on it’s 38th home. The Suchman Family has been selected as our next
Habitat homeowner. Tabitha Suchman and her two children Dominique and Klub
will be the proud homeowners of Habitat Lenawee's next home. Tabitha
qualified in November of 2008 to be a Habitat homeowner, she has been
patiently waiting for the day when she and her children who are currently
living in a two bedroom house, would officially be offered a home. The
LISD-Tech Center Residential Construction class will be doing the rehab of
Tabitha's house with the goal of completion in May of 2011.

In May of 2009 Lenawee Co. Habitat for Humanity completed it's first Energy Star® Certified home at 416 Toledo St., Adrian.
Habitat for Humanity of Lenawee County is seeking to rehabilitate foreclosed houses. Not only is this our first rehabilitated home but also our first Green and LEED Certified home. [What Is LEED?]
