Officers
Larry Schroeder -Board President: Larry joined our Board in late 2007 but his history with Habitat dates back to the early-1990's when he was the Curriculum Director at the LISD-TECH Center. Larry helped orchestrate the partnership between the Residential Construction students and our affiliate. Larry left the LISD-TECH Center and that partnership dissolved until he returned as Principal in 2003 when he helped revive the program. Larry is an Adrian Kiwanis member. He and his wife have four children and seven grandchildren.
Vice President - Robert Fox: Bob has been a resident of Lenawee County for 28 year, is an Associate Broker, with a B.A. from Siena Heights University , Certified Citizen Planner MSU. 19 Years Experience Chairperson for City of Tecumseh Planning Commission, Treasurer of Tecumseh Downtown Development Authority, Elected Officials Compensation Board, Board Member Lenawee County Economic Development Commission, Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce. Past Executive Committee Member of the Lenawee County March of Dimes, Past V. P. U of M Dugout Club, Member of Tecumseh Rotary Club. Member of the Lenawee County , Michigan and National Association of Realtors Asst. Varsity Baseball coach Tecumseh High School , Camp Coach U of M Baseball Camps.

Board Secretary - Sr. Durstyne Farnan, OP - Women Build: Sister Durstyne (Dusty) is the key element in our Women Build project. Dusty lives in a community with three others sisters from Siena Heights Dominican Sisters. Dusty also serves on the Athena Board and is a recipient of the ANTONA award.

Kevin Brown - Immediate Past Board President: Kevin lives in the Onsted area and is the Residential Construction instructor at LISD's TECH Center. Kevin was key in reestablishing the working relationship between the LISD TECH Center and our affiliate.
Gary Dawes - Restore Committee Chair: Gary was elected within our affiliate in June, 2006, and served as our Board President for three (3) years. He is currently the pastor of Adrian's United Methodist Church. Gary and his wife of 34 years, Barb, live in Adrian. Together they have two married children and three grandchildren. Gary has been involved with various Habitat for Humanity affiliates since 1986, and served as Chairman of the Board for Habitat Michigan for several years.
Craig Baumann - Volunteer Coordinator: Craig has lived in Adrian for nearly 30 years, has two daughters and 7 grandchildren. Since retiring in 2003, Craig has been involved in bowling, card-playing and spending time with his grandchildren. Craig joined the Board in 2006 and volunteers frequently on our job sites.
Barry Garrow - Construction Committee: Barry joined the Lenawee Habitat Board in July of 2009 and is is a Michigan Licensed Contractor and Licensed Sales Person and has been in the construction business for over 27 yrs. Barry has worked for Michigan Building Specialties for 27 years in Management, and was the Project Manager for Habitat Lenawee's first Thrivent Build in Morenci in 2005. Barry enjoys camping, hunting and fishing and family time with his two children and one grandchild, volunteering as a Sunday School Teacher (20+yrs), mission trips and local mission projects and is a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Morenci MI.
Kay Barber - Fund Development and Family Support: Kay and her husband Jay live in Adrian and have to children, twins Grace and Owen. Kay grew up in Marquette, MI and attended Michigan State University. She and her husband moved to Adrian in 2000 and have come to love being part of the community. After graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design Kay worked as an interior designer for Interphase, a Haworth dealer in Grand Rapids, MI., moved to Washington DC in the summer of 1998 where she worked at Price-Modern.

Sarah Wilczynski: Sarah joined the Habitat Board in May of 2011 she is a native of NE Ohio. Sarah attended Bowling Green State University and majored in Apparel Merchandising and Product Development and minored in Marketing. Sarah is currently the Store Manger at Lowe’s in Adrian. Very focused on Community, Sarah and her Lowe’s team are very active in programs and events to support and grow relationships within the area communities. Sarah also serves as the Vice President of the Blissfield River Raisin Festival Committee.

Support Personnel
Executive Director Robert (Bob) Dister lives outside of Morenci with his wife Pat, they have 3 grown children and 1 grandchild. Bob joined our affiliate on January 5th, 2009 but is no stranger to Habitat, Bob worked as a volunteer on two Habitat house's built in Morenci, one which was built in partnership with Thrivent for Lutherans. Bob worked for Big Brothers, Big Sisters before joining Habitat, is a local Methodist Pastor, and has a Masters Degree in School Counseling.
Laura Alcock serves the HFHLC office and ReStore as the Financial Assistant and works closely with the Board Treasurer. Laura and her husband, Don, live in Sand Creek. They have five children and eleven grandchildren.
Kenneth Sterling - Ken joined HFHLC in 2007 as the ReStore Support Person, in 2009 Ken’s duties where shifted to working as the Construction Support Person. He and his wife Mary live in the Hudson area and have five (5) grown children.
Jessica Sattler - Jessica comes from a background in business, earning her bachelors degree in Marketing/Management from Baker College in 2004. In the past, Jessica managed the support services department for Unival Inc. in Ann Arbor, MI. and was the Membership and Marketing Coordinator for The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. The experience she gained in these positions prepared her best for the role she played at Neighborhood Funding Resources. 2006-June of 2011, Jessica was the Business Operations Director for Neighborhood Funding Resources in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Aside from being responsible for contract preparations and new account acquisitions, she managed public relations, community events and human resources. Grant research and grant management took up a large portion of her time. Jessica has been managing grants on a local, state and federal level for the past 5 years, making her well prepared for her position as Fund Development Director. She is very knowledgeable on the ARRA funds and the required data and reporting elements, currently managing the data and reporting department for a $15 million ARRA project in Ohio.
